November 12 2008. David Brown Hydraulic Systems Ltd has now been acquired by Clyde Blowers. This also lead to the name and company change from David Brown Hydraulics formerly operating as a trading division under David Brown Engineering Ltd to the above.

 

Clyde Blowers companies operate in and are worldwide leaders in the areas of power, materials handling, intermodal transport and logistics and pump technologies and the acquisition of the four companies that were contained within the Textron Fluid and Power Division made a welcome addition to the existing portfolio.
